The user will require a hammer along with a flat screwdriver for the removal of the tack strips. The screwdriver can be used to prying up the strips.
Step4: cleaning the place
With all the removal processes gone through, the only step left is cleaning of the place. It should be made sure that the carpet glue and the pieces of carpet pad are removed carefully.
